More than ever, the focus on personal growth and mental health has never been greater. And while I find it fulfilling to expand my wish list of books and documentaries on self-improvement and wellness topics, I can’t help but feeling also disheartened knowing I probably won’t have time to consume them all.
My solution? Podcasts. While my chance of sitting down reading an actual book after a long day may be slim, I can always count on slipping a listen in while I’m making my breakfast or while I’m out for my much-needed walk. For someone that values self-care while still managing a full-time job, this has been a game-changer. With this more mobile approach to self-improvement, making the time to work towards my best self has never felt more effortless.
