Nobu Hotel Los Cabos Instagram
If you’re already a fan of the well-established Nobu Restaurant, you’ll probably notice some parallels to the Nobu Hotel Los Cabos. It’s modern organic design is elevated, refined, and hones in on all the elements of the Japanese tradition of minimalism. This prime destination is widely known as one of the best luxury hotels which radiates a sense of easy-living that pays careful attention to design and wellness for the mind, body, and spirit.
It’s also important to note that while this hotel is located at ocean level, the turbulent nature of waves in the area unfortunately won’t make this the ideal spot for swimming. But if you’re still looking to take a refreshing dip in some waters, their private pools and swim-up cabanas offer a great option to relax while taking in the sweeping view of Cabo’s beaches.
Along with it’s relaxed atmosphere, you’ll get to enjoy their fitness center that’s open 24 hours, making it a good choice for anyone that wants to keep up their fitness regimen while on holiday.
So, if you’re in need of a fully immersive escape and looking to reset from the inside out, the Nobu los Cabos hotel is a great option for those that appreciation a minimal Japanese aesthetic. Whether you’re booking its luxury accommodations or visiting their restaurant with it’s memorable and modern architecture, this spot has more than enough to offer to earn a place in your Cabo itinerary.
Eat
There’s no visiting or staying at this popular destination without trying out one of their site restaurants. From Chef Nobu’s world-renowned Japanese-fusion dishes to authentic yet dynamic Mexican flavor pairings, the Nobu hotel features all the dining options to impress anyone.
As for myself, I took advantage of visiting their onsite restaurant in the morning to enjoy a delicious breakfast and explore the property. I ordered Shakshuka, poached eggs that came baked in a rich and savory tomato sauce. And while I thoroughly enjoyed the meal, what I’ll remember was the service — impeccable. Our server was warm, charming, and made our table feel like family.
Acre Resort
$$
Location: San Jose del Cabo
Design: Luxury Desert, Jungle Chic, Tropical Oasis
Highlights: Adults Only, Farm to Table Concept, Great for Events
Nestled within a lush sanctuary of vibrant palm trees, Acre has become known as the “treehouse hotel.” But don’t be fooled by its “treehouse” label — it’s far from the grubby, eco-lodge feel that typically comes with the typical treehouse hotel. Instead, this desert oasis houses 12 treehouses with more elevated features including modern design finishes, a private balcony, bathroom, closet, dreamy outdoor shower, king-sized bed with mosquito net, mini bar and yes, high-speed internet and outlets.
Upon exploring the resort myself, I also noticed that the entire property featured plenty of nooks, corners, and private-feeling spaces integrated within the dense, jungle-like landscape. With a variety of large and smaller spaces, some featuring grills and centers for entertainment, I could easily picture community events bustling to life during the day and night.
This stay also features an outdoor pool with a bar just steps away to compliment the relaxed atmosphere.
As another plus, Acre Resort is conveniently, only 20 minutes away from the Los Cabos International Airport for anyone that appreciates a shorter trip to and from the airport.
Eat
With a farm on its property, you can only expect the food from their al fresco onsite restaurant to be nothing short of delicious. And honestly? The food and the drinks were both absolutely superb. While the food alone is worth ordering family style to try a bit of everything, it’s the drinks that make Acre’s cuisine scene really stand out. Like their farm to table concept, their expertise in mixology is sure to impress anyone that fancies a well-prepared drink. Interested? See their cocktail menu here for yourself.

If you’re looking for a perfect place that’s in close proximity to the beach, letting you walk barefoot and free among the fine Mexican sands, Las Ventanas Al Paraíso is for you. Thoughtfully designed with an open layout, you’ll feel like you’re outside as you tour every corner of this hotel. From it’s sweeping ocean views and curving walkways, that’ll make you feel like you’re floating, to it’s airy and open bars, every moment enjoyed at this hotel will make you feel at ease, rejuvenated, and one with the Mexican beaches.

As expected, most of their dining options are set outside, al fresco style. However, what I felt what was most unique, was that they have private dining options in case you’re staying for an intimate event and would like a private, enclosed setting for your friends and family to enjoy.
My personal favorite of the onsite restaurant options is the more casual Sunset Bar, located directly on the sand. Just to the right of the Sea Grill, you’ll find some stone steps that’ll lead you down to the area where a beautiful setup of wooden dining and lounging furnishings are waiting for you for the perfect, relaxed atmosphere. And just behind the setup, you’ll find a full bar ready to take your order if you choose to enjoy a drink (or a few). Once settled, you’ll have a full view of the beautiful beaches and a calming site of the billowing sheets from the resort’s private cabanas in the near distance.
It’s neutral, modern organic, and minimal Mexican design elements allows this popular destination to be a timeless favorite for many regulars that admire quality and authenticity.
